Meaningful engagement for nearly 40 years
ERDI has cultivated and preserved the inspiring vision of ERDI's founder, Dr. Mike Kneale. He and his wife, Patti, built and nurtured a collegial atmosphere where district leaders could offer candid feedback and insight to researchers and developers in service of improving our young people's experiences and opportunities in school. We continue to honor that legacy as we build for an exciting future.
ERDI convenes top district and industry leaders from across the US to collaboratively tackle the top problems of practice facing PK-12 education. Members share professional expertise and insights to inform and optimize the development of products and services, which support PK-12 districts, schools, and classrooms. Through a combination of research and development panels, think tanks, symposiums, roundtables, and professional learning opportunities, ERDI supports school district leaders and solution providers who contribute to the critical work of public education. Members must be nominated by current ERDI members or industry experts, and ERDI is highly regarded in the field for the high caliber of talent it regularly convenes at each of its institutes and R&D events.
