February 20, 2022 In the fall of 2021, ERDI hosted a Thought Leadership Symposium on Systems Leadership for Equity where district and industry leaders and emeritus superintendents came together to address these issues, provide insight, and offer a way to frame conversations around equity, access, and diversity. To amplify the voices of current and practicing education leaders, ERDI Emeritus Superintendents joined the symposium to capture their sentiments, highlight their challenges, and offer support and collegial camaraderie. In this article series, ERDI Emeritus Superintendents call members of the education community to action and offer salient and practical solutions for how to effectively lead for equity and serve as champions for all students.
