About the class:
In the digital age, branding is more important than ever - especially for public education. You must ask, "what is my brand, and what story do I want to tell?" Join Nicholas Morgan to gain expertise in marketing for public education organizations.
This class is designed to provide experienced educational leaders with skills and knowledge to manage a brand identity for or within an educational organization to further its strategic mission.
We will draw on insights from the private sector, public policy, and K-12 education to inform a new viewpoint on public leadership. We will apply these insights to both short-term pandemic response and longer-term strategic planning, and guide class discussion accordingly.

About Nicholas Morgan, Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania:
Nick serves as an independent advisor to leading organizations nationwide and as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, where has taught since 2007. He was previously the Executive Director of the Strategic Data Project, part of Harvard University’s Center for Education Policy Research. Prior to Harvard, Nick was a Managing Director with the District Management Council, where he worked with school districts on strategic planning, human capital, and resource allocation issues. He has also held positions with the Parthenon Group, Arthur D. Little, and BMW. He has a BA in Economics from McGill University in Montreal and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
