Jeff McCoy

Prior to joining ERDI, Jeff was the Associate Superintendent for Academics at Greenville County Schools, the largest district in South Carolina. In this role, he spearheaded transformative initiatives in curriculum development, digital learning, and instructional leadership, impacting over 78,000 students. Under his leadership, the district implemented a K-12 Literacy Framework, expanded personalized learning opportunities, and rolled out an artificial intelligence strategy for staff. 

With more than two decades of experience in K-12 education, Jeff has been recognized nationally for his academic innovation and leadership work. He has contributed to multiple publications on the topics of curriculum innovation, transformation, technology integration, and artificial intelligence in education. His contributions to education have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the 1EdTech Leadership Award (2022), the RTM All Stars Award (2018), and District Administration's Top 100 Most Influential Educators (2024). In addition to his professional roles, Jeff has served on the Board of Directors for 1EdTech and the Upstate Children's Museum and multiple advisory boards over his 26-year career.
